Devendra Jhajharia won GOLD at rio Paralympics - WHO IS HE?

Devendra Jhajharia brought second Gold medal for India after Mariyappan in Rio Paralympics. He participated in Javelen and made World Record in Rio.

WHO IS HE?

Two Time Paralympics Medalist. In 2004 He won medal in Paralympics for India. after 12 years he made it again and Won Gold medal for India.

Devendra Jhajharia, Paralympic javelin thrower from India, has caught eyeballs after winning his second gold medal at the Rio Paralympics in F46 event. Jhajharia, who already has a long list of achievements to his name, was born into a low-income family of Churu district in Rajasthan.
At the age of eight, he lost his left hand after accidentally touching an electric wire while trying to climb a tree. However, Jhajharia’s life took a turn after he began participating in para-athletics in 1995 while in school. In 1997, Coach Ripudaman Singh identified his potential when he saw him competing in a school tournament and encouraged him to take up the sport seriously.



INSPIRATION:

Devendra used to go practice with his daughter. His daughter said to devendra that dad when you won Gold in Paralympics then, i'll be get Rank 1 in my class and devendra promised his daughter that to win Gold in Paralympics.

Meanwhile his daughter got Rank 1 in her class and she informed to his father (Devendra Jhajharia) just before the match begin. Devendra took it as so serious that to win the Promise for his daughter and finally he won it.
