Virat Kohli is a fearsome cricketer. He is the middle order batsman who can also open the innings. Virat is one on the best fielder in the Indian squad. He bats right handed and ball his medium pace with his right hand.
Virat came to lime light when he scored 90 runs to save Delhi from follow on in the match against Karnataka on December 19 2006. On the same date his father had passed away at 3 in the morning due to brain Stroke. His innings of 90 runs was termed “Very Crucial” by his captain Mitthun Manhas.
Virat was included in Delhi Ranji team on 23rd November 2006. Kohli first match was against Tamil Nadu. In domestic arena he played his first T 20 match against Himachal Pradesh at Delhi on April 3 2007.
He was the captain of the Indian under 19 Cricket World Cup team. The world cup was held in Malaysia in the year 2008. Kohli has been a member of the Indian cricket team for ODIs since 18 August 2008 against Sri Lanka, and was included in the Test squad for the first time 2010/2011 series of West Indies.
Virat Kholi played his first T 20 international match against Zimbabwe at Harare cricket ground on June 12 2010.
