After MSDHONI retired from the TEST, BCCI decided to handle INDIAN TEAM to virat kohli since he has been Good captaincy skill than others.
VIRAT aggression in TEST worked so far. As he was very good in RCB as captian. He grabbed this oppourtunity from the BCCI.

Why VIRAT is so lucky??
When MSD lead indian test cricket team since 2007, He had been good in captaincy skill as well. MSD had Sachin, Dravid, Laxmann, Zaheer, Nehra, Balaji, Sehwag, Gambhir..etc He had lot of good players.
After they retired from the TEST. India met trouble in TEST. we wouldn't find perfect replacement for their position till now.
However MSD managed the TEAM so well. As MSD was in consistent in picking X1 players in SQUAD. Now our players are in consistent and they knew the TEST condition.
Now about all the players played so much TEST in overseas. now they had the good experience. It may be very easy to handle the player for virat. That is why he is very luckest Indian Captian.
